Create Something Real With Jeremy Melodious
A few years ago someone sent me a message after watching one of my videos that I still think about. They said they'd been having a genuinely terrible week and somehow stumbled across my content at eleven at night and ended up watching three videos back to back and felt better by the end. Not fixed. Just less alone.
That message didn't go viral. Nobody else saw it. But it reminded me why I built this platform the way I did, around real human connection rather than optimized performance.
My name is Jeremy Melodious. I'm a Vietnamese American creator, dancer, musician, and digital commerce professional from Garden Grove, California. I studied Media Studies at UC Berkeley, built an audience across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube through content that reaches millions of people, and I work with creators, brands, and individuals who want to build something that actually means something.
Everything I offer through this platform comes back to one belief: authentic self-expression changes how people move through the world. Not as a motivational concept. As something I've watched happen repeatedly in my own life and in the lives of people I've worked with directly.
If you're here because something about what I create resonated with you, you're in the right place. Here's exactly what I offer and who each service is built for.
Custom Video Creation
Some people come to me with a fully developed concept, a clear vision, specific references, and a direction they want to move in. Others come with just a feeling they want translated into something visual. Honestly both are enough to start.
I've spent years studying why certain videos make people stop scrolling while others disappear instantly. I broke down the mechanics behind my Zesty Sturdy Dance that hit 2.3 million views in three days, analyzed the Low Cortisol Dance trend through the lens of emotional psychology, and documented what made the Viral Back Cracking Challenge memorable years after it peaked. That obsessive attention to why content connects shapes every video I make for someone else.
The strongest content doesn't come from perfect production. It comes from emotional recognition, that specific moment when someone watching feels like the video understands something about them. That's what I focus on: personality, pacing, storytelling, and the kind of emotional clarity that makes people feel something real.
This service is built for creators building a stronger personal brand, businesses wanting content that converts without feeling corporate, people who want something meaningful captured on video, and anyone exhausted by generic content that looks identical to everything else in their feed.
1:1 Video Chat Sessions
I booked one of these with myself once, metaphorically speaking. There was a period where I was creating consistently, the numbers were decent, and from the outside everything looked fine. But I felt genuinely disconnected from why I was making anything. I needed someone to talk to who would be honest rather than just supportive.
That experience is part of why I take these sessions seriously.
My 1:1 video chat sessions are built for real conversations about creativity, confidence, self-expression, content strategy, life direction, and the kind of questions that don't have clean answers but still need to be spoken out loud to someone who's genuinely listening.
I'm not going to show up with a five step framework or a motivational script. I approach these conversations the way I'd want someone to approach one with me: honest, direct, genuinely curious about your specific situation, and focused on what actually moves you forward rather than what sounds impressive.
People book sessions for creative direction, confidence building, content creator guidance, fashion and self-expression conversations, life transitions, emotional clarity, and sometimes just genuine human connection with someone who isn't going to perform at them.
If you want to understand more about how I think before booking, my perspectives blog and who I am as Jeremy Melodious give you a real sense of where I'm coming from.
1:1 In-Person Sessions
There's something that happens in person that genuinely doesn't translate through a screen, and I say that as someone who has built most of his platform digitally.
Body language, energy, the natural rhythm of a real conversation where nobody is performing for a camera. These things matter in ways that are hard to articulate but immediately obvious when you experience them.
My in-person sessions are built around authentic conversation, creative exploration, and genuine presence. Depending on where you are and what you need, we can work through personal growth conversations, creative brainstorming, content creation guidance, confidence and self-expression support, fashion and identity, or simply the kind of honest dialogue that's increasingly rare in a world where most interactions happen through a screen.
The goal isn't to build a perfect version of you. It's to help you reconnect with the version that already exists underneath everything you've been told you're supposed to be.
Personal Styling
I grew up watching fashion work as a language in Garden Grove. The way certain people carried themselves in specific clothes, how an outfit could communicate confidence before a single word was spoken, how the wrong clothes for someone's actual personality could make them visibly smaller. I noticed all of that early and never stopped noticing it.
Fashion became meaningful to me not because I was chasing trends but because I understood that what you wear is a form of daily self-expression whether you're conscious of it or not. You're communicating something with every outfit. The question is whether what you're communicating actually reflects who you are.
My personal styling service is focused on helping you develop a style that genuinely reflects your personality, energy, and confidence rather than someone else's aesthetic or this season's algorithm-optimized look. Whether your natural direction is minimalist, expressive, elevated, streetwear-inspired, experimental, or somewhere between all of those, the goal is always authenticity over imitation.
I wrote about how deeply dance and movement shaped my relationship with personal expression in how dance shaped my life, my energy, and who I am today, and a lot of the same philosophy applies to how I approach styling. Movement and fashion both come down to the same thing: how do you inhabit yourself honestly?
Songwriting and Music Guidance
Music does something language can't always do. It finds the feeling underneath the words and makes it audible.
I've been writing and releasing music seriously enough that you can find my work on Spotify, Apple Music, iHeart, and Amazon Music. That process has taught me something important: the hardest part of making music isn't technical. It's emotional clarity. Knowing what you're actually trying to say and being willing to say it honestly rather than hiding behind production choices that make a song sound good but feel like nothing.
Through my songwriting and music guidance service I help people transform emotions, experiences, memories, and ideas into developed music concepts. That includes songwriting direction, beat selection, vocal arrangement guidance, emotional concept development, and building a creative sound identity that actually sounds like you rather than a trend you were trying to catch.
Some projects end up cinematic and nostalgic. Others become high-energy, chaotic, vulnerable, or something that doesn't have a clean genre label but feels exactly right. I follow where the emotional truth of the project leads rather than trying to fit it into a format that makes it easier to pitch.

Elite Shopify Store Builder
I work in Shopify professionally. Not as a side interest or a peripheral skill. As someone embedded in digital commerce who understands how ecommerce ecosystems actually function from the inside.
That experience changed how I think about online stores at a fundamental level. Most ecommerce websites technically function but emotionally communicate nothing. They have products, they have checkout, they have some version of a homepage. But they don't make someone feel anything about the brand. They don't build trust before the sale. They don't communicate identity clearly enough for the right audience to immediately recognize themselves in what they're looking at.
The strongest brands don't just sell products. They communicate who they are so clearly that the right customer feels found rather than targeted. That's what I build: Shopify stores that are fast, conversion-focused, mobile-optimized, and built around genuine brand identity rather than a theme template with your logo dropped in.
I went deep on the philosophy behind this in why I'm passionate about Shopify, SEO, and digital media, and if you want to understand how I think about digital presence as a system rather than a checklist, my journey from UC Berkeley to building a digital brand gives you the full picture.
This service is ideal for personal brands, fashion brands, content creators, ecommerce startups, and creatives who want a digital presence that actually reflects what they're building.

The Philosophy Behind Everything Here
I grew up in a Vietnamese American household where hard work wasn't a motivational concept. It was just how life worked. You showed up, you did the thing, you didn't make a big deal of it, and you appreciated opportunity because you understood what it cost to create it.
That upbringing shaped how I approach everything I offer here. I'm not interested in performing expertise or manufacturing an image of someone who has everything figured out. I'm interested in doing genuinely useful work with people who care about building something real.
Everything across this platform, the viral video content, the personal perspectives, the marketing insights, the pop culture commentary, the music, the services, connects back to one core belief: authentic self-expression is not a luxury. It's how people find the version of themselves they actually want to be living as.
